Simon Knutton, a Professional Engineer and Consultant (Pr. Eng B.Eng (Hons)), has over a quarter-century of experience in the industry. A consulting engineer since the early 80's, with prior experience in heavy earthmoving, he founded Knutton Consulting in 1993.

The author of the first design guidelines for gravity walls in South Africa, he has also had a number of other papers published.

Due in no small part to the hands-on style of its CEO and team, Knutton Consulting has experienced strong growth since its inception, requiring expansion into larger premises. Apart from being involved in a wide range of products in South Africa, Simon Knutton's expertise is now also being utilised in the international arena with assignments in Dubai as well as other Middle Eastern states.

A family man, Simon Knutton also makes every effort to maintain close ties with community issues and is involved in a number of facets of Midrand and its environs' socio-economic growth.
